Insteel Industries is one of the nation’s largest manufacturers of steel wire reinforcing products for concrete construction applications. The Company manufactures and markets prestressed concrete strand ("PC strand") and welded wire reinforcement, including concrete pipe reinforcement, engineered structural mesh and standard welded wire reinforcement. Insteel’s products are sold primarily to manufacturers of concrete products for the nonresidential and infrastructure construction industries.

Insteel's business strategy is focused on:

achieving leadership positions in its markets and operating as the lowest cost producer.
pursuing growth opportunities in existing or related product lines sold into the same markets that leverage off of the Company's infrastructure and core competencies in the manufacture and marketing of concrete reinforcing products.

Headquartered in Mount Airy, North Carolina, Insteel operates six manufacturing facilities located in the United States. The Company's common stock is traded on the NASDAQ National Market under the symbol IIIN.
